This site is dedicated to the memory of Shaun Kirkpatrick.
Shaun’s musical career started at the age of 6. At school he learned both the flugel and tenor horns to a level that took him to the National Brass Band final at the Royal Albert Hall London by the age of 10.
At 18 he joined the Army as a musician, attended the Army school of music, and having – as the advert said – 'seen the world', he completed his military career with two weeks in the Royal Tournament at London’s Earls Court playing a fanfare for the Queen.
