In more recent years Shaun had his own state-of-the-art digital studio: a room full of technical wizardry for professional music productions both in film and TV. Being consistent with his musical roots, Shaun believed that playing live music was not only integral but crucial to staying in touch with the creative spark. As a consequence, he had his own band The Truth with which he played just days before his death on 7 July 2013. His untimely death has left a huge, horribly quiet space in the lives of so many. One of his favourite phrases was “where words fail music speaks” and he would have loved Youth Music's belief that music is power.
